Ixom Watercare, Inc. prides itself on hiring the best of the pack to join our service team. Crew members travel around the country to install and service state-of-the-art equipment that makes water better. Trips last around three weeks, and you can determine how frequently you would like to be scheduled on a trip. Expenses are paid while crew members are on the road.

All trips start from Dickinson, ND, and applicants must be available for pre-trip meetings and trainings at Dickinson, but otherwise crew members can reside wherever they like. Crew has lived as far away as Minneapolis and western Montana without issue.

Safety equipment and extensive training is provided by Ixom Watercare. Applicants must have a current driver's license with no DUI's and be 21 years of age or older. We are looking for individuals who can work at heights using safety equipment and following safety rules. Good communication skills and an understanding of professionalism along with some mechanical, electrical and biology knowledge and or experience is a plus.

Technical Support - Customer Service Coordinator

Ixom Watercare is a leading global water treatment solutions provider providing solutions for a variety of water treatment challenges.

With the acquisition of Medora Brands including Gridbee, Residual HQ, and Solarbee, a new dimension has been added to Ixom’s water treatment care offering. Our talented associates combine deep expertise with a solutions-based approach to analyze water, identify treatment needs, and design, implement, and service solutions to achieve your specific water treatment goals.


The Role

At IXOM, our customers are the most integral part of what we do. Alongside a complex technical function, the Technical Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring all our customers get end to end technical support, including; sales inquiries, logistics, service and successful delivery. You will work as part of a greater integrated team, liaising with all areas of the business.

To be successful in this role you will be eager to learn, driven, and have excellent organisation & communication skills.


Key responsibilities
  • Maintain and support relationships of existing customer by handling technical support issues via phone calls, email, or other communication means
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Develop and maintain collaborative, cooperative and effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Provide Engineering support for products
  • Coordinate troubleshooting of customer issues and elevating concerns to other engineers as needed
  • Communicates regularly with other team members to support future business development thru understanding customers’ needs and challenges
  • Capture and document standard operating procedures for understanding and troubleshooting equipment
  • Assist Engineering department with hands-on-tasks occasionally
  • Support and assist with field crew questions when they are on and off site
  • Attend pre and post trip meetings with field crews and other customer service representatives as needed/requested

Skills & Experience
  • Associates or higher degree in an Engineering discipline along with 2+ years of experience in technical discipline
  • Prior customer service experience in a technical aptitude, either phone based or face-to-face
  • Be a good team player with the ability to handle stressful situations
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with excellent attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Knowledge and experience with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic equipment would be advantageous
  • Experience in water treatment technologies would be a plus

Regional Manager

The Role

Due to growth and innovation we are currently searching for a Regional Sales Manager to join our friendly and collaborative team. We are seeking the best talent to deliver our growth aspirations across the Ixom Watercare business. As such, we are now looking for a proactive, driven and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to deliver the overall financial objectives for the allocated region.

The role will help with building and developing new and innovative categories within the water treatment market. You will provide direction for the short- and long-term growth of revenues and end market strategies through superior business development, whilst managing product line reps and distributers and customer retention for your assigned region. You will also work closely with the commercial team to solve customer challenges and provide input on future and current opportunities and challenges in your region.
 

Key responsibilities
  • Direct sales, business development, and growth for assigned region by meeting or exceeding goals
  • Manage manufacture’s reps and distributors by providing training and support of product lines
  • Seek every opportunity to increase market share, revenue and profitability by attending trade shows, conferences, engineering firms and customer’s sites
  • Gather and obtain information from customers for preparing quotes and budget estimates including bid specifications
  • Prepare and submit sales proposals to customers for potential orders or trade-ins
  • Emphasize product features based on analyses of customer’s needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales team for technical support, researching information needed to solve customer’s needs, quotes and other sales support as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with internal stakeholders to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information

Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience in B2B Sales and within the water industry
  • Genuine new business development expertise with the ability to create opportunities through various channels
  • Familiarity with Ixom’s products and/or industry
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build longstanding relationships
  • Contract management, bid preparation and contract negotiation experience
  • Commercial acumen to offer astute insights and advice
  • Tenacious, driven and are motivated by the thrill of a win
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Engineering, Business or related field will be highly regarded but not necessary

Travel

Please note you must be able to travel up to 40% of time depending on territory demands at any specific time to be considered for this role. You will also need a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
